Is your sewing room full to overflowing with fabric you’ll never use? Or, have you acquired a stash from an estate and wonder what to do with it? It may be time to sort through and donate some of the excess.

The first step is to do some sorting so you can tell possible recipients what types of fabric you have to offer (cotton, wool, upholstery, etc.) . They’ll also want some idea of the sizes involved (scraps, pre-cuts, yardage).
