Mini Quilt Ornaments for Christmas Cheer
Who Can Resist These Mini Quilts!
Christmas is just around the corner so now is the time to get started on quilt projects. These tiny quilts are a good place to start. They make darling ornaments just right for the season.
Of course, they don’t have to be just for Christmas. We can see them made up in colors for other seasons as well. We can also imagine a cheery display with several ornaments hung together. A patchwork version made from fabric scraps would lend a charming touch all year around!
Instructions for making these little quilts using two methods, from designer Ann Hermes, are provided by allpeoplequilt.com. There’s a link on the tutorial page for a video demonstrating the first method, which is standard piecing. The patterns for the second method, paper piecing, can be found here along with the printable tutorial for both methods.
Choose the method that works best for you and make several. We bet you can’t stop at just one!
