You may already be using painters or masking tape in the sewing room. However, you may not be using tape to full advantage.
Karen Brown, from Just Get It Done Quilts, has put together a video showing five ways to improve accuracy (and save time) by using masking tape. She has some ingenious ideas that every quilter can benefit from.

When using the table extension, I put the tape over the crack that is horizontal to my sewing line. This helps the fabric in the seams on the underside stay open and flat.
