Customize it to Fit Your Chair and Tools!

This marvelous organizer has been carefully designed to hold just about everything you’ll need to work in your favorite armchair. It can be adjusted to fit over the arm of your chair and customized to suit your needs.

The clever design includes a box for odds and ends, pincushion and thread catcher. These are all detachable and can be moved to the sewing room or elsewhere as needed. Pockets on both sides can be customized to fit specific tools or left large to hold just about anything.

A piece of sheet metal is sewn into the top of the organizer and magnets hold the interchangeable items in place. That also means a magnetic pin bowl will stay in place, as well.

Instructions are provided for cutting your own sheet metal shapes along with the specifications for the four magnets. You’ll find that information here (the hardware kit is no longer available.)

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
