While we love the striking colors used in this quilt, we can also imagine it made with 1930’s reproductions fabrics. Batiks in any color scheme would be stunning too, as would coordinated fabrics with fussy cuts in the center squares. It would be a charming scrap quilt, as well.

The stair-step border treatment will make this quilt stand out from the crowd, regardless of the fabrics used. Add your unique color sense and you’ll have a quilt to treasure.

Crib size: 44″ x 59″
Throw size: 59″ x 74″
Twin/Full size: 74″ x 89″
Queen size: 89″ x 104″
King size: 104″ x 104″

The quilt is super easy to make, even for beginning quilters. If you can sew a consistent quarter-inch seam and cut accurately, you can make this quilt.
