Richly colored batiks shine in this stunning bed runner. The black accents make the saturated colors pop with a stained glass effect.
The runner will turn a plain solid-colored bedspread into something special, dressing up the entire room. Plus, it will be striking in whatever colors and fabric styles you choose.
While there are a lot of pieces, Quilt-As-You-Go makes the runner relatively quick and easy to complete. A water-soluble glue stick simplifies the process of combining the finished blocks.
The runner is long but you can easily shorten it by reducing the number of blocks. Plus, one block will make a striking wall-hanging or combine 2 or 3 for a table runner.
