This Will Be Lovely In Whatever Colors You Choose!

This clever little table topper will be lovely with blue and white dishes. The loops around the outside edge add a sculptural touch but the quilt will be lovely without them.

Choose a small floral print for the background fabric and select coordinating blue prints to go with it. You may already have what you need in your stash.

Pride of Italy Table Topper

While we love the blue and white, this would be lovely made up in your favorite color. We can easily imagine it in red and white, and also in lavender, green and white. Autumn colors would be charming too.

Have fun with this pattern. It’s simple to make and before long you could have one made for yourself and another to give as a gift. The loops are cording inserted into a bias tube and cut to size. It’s not hard to do but you can leave it off if you want to.

The finished quilt, by designer Barbara Clayton and from Free-Quilting.com, is 16″ x 16″.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
