A variety of small-scale prints in navy, green and red give this beautiful lap quilt a classic look and feel. You’ll love having this handy to snuggle with on chilly evenings.
This quilt will be lovely in your favorite colors too, as well as in seasonal colors and bright fabrics. Just make sure to keep good contrast between the darks and lights so the overall design doesn’t get lost.
While this is a relatively simple pattern to make, you’ll appreciate the special construction technique recommended by the designer for speeding up construction.
The finished lap quilt, designed by Becky from Patchwork Posse, is 56″ X 56″. You can increase the size by adding more blocks and adjusting the piano key border to fit.
