Sometimes the prettiest things come in small packages and that’s the case with this beautiful little quilt. Display it on a bureau, side table or any small spot that needs a bit of color.
We love the combination of a batik, a small-scale print and a mottled low-contrast fabric. The colors are wonderful, too.
The quilt will be lovely in other colors and fabric styles as well. Dig into your stash and put together a combination that appeals to you.
While the pattern is described as “easy”, it does have a few Y seams. They’re fairly simple to do, but many quilters are intimidated by them. This is a great project for mastering that technique, which will open up a world of design options. This video will help you master Y seams.
