Batiks Lend Complexity to an Easy Runner

Small-Scale Prints Will be Lovely Too!
Vibrant batiks combine for a stunning table runner of closely coordinated colors. This is a super easy project that you can have finished up quickly. You may even want to make more than one just so you can play with colors.
The runner will be beautiful in many other color combinations. The most harmonious results will be from colors next to each other on the color wheel.
The runner in the example draws from the violet/blue/green section of the color wheel. There are several other combinations that will work nicely, too. It all depends on what personality you want to give your runner.
This little quilt is very easy to complete. Strips are sewn together, layered, quilted and bound.
The finished runner, from designer Kent Williams, is 16″ x 72″.
