Beautiful Butterflies Gather in This Quilt

This Will be Lovely in Your Favorite Colors!

Pretty pieced butterflies dance across this beautiful quilt, making us think of sunny days and flower gardens. Soft batiks add texture and interest while softening the overall design.

Batiks allow the butterflies to fade in and out from the background, giving the quilt an ethereal feel, rather like butterflies themselves. However, just about any fabric style will be lovely stitched up in this easy quilt.

Butterfly Town Quilt Pattern

The butterflies are simple piecing, as is the pretty border. You’ll be pleased with how quickly the quilt goes together.

The finished quilt, from designer Tracey Brookshier, is 44″ x 57″. It’s sized for a throw but can easily be made larger. Add more blocks or a series of complementary borders.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
