Alter the Number of Blocks to Make a Table Runner or Full Sized Quilt!
Bed runners are such a wonderful idea for keeping toes cozy. They also allow you to switch out your bedroom decor as often as you like without having to make full sized quilts.
This one is made up in rich colors that are just right for autumn or any time of the year. It will be lovely in other colors, as well. Beautiful batiks give it depth and richness while putting the focus squarely on the beautiful star blocks.
Instructions are provided for runners in the following sizes:
- 26 1/2″ x 62 1/2″ – Twin
- 26 1/2″ x 86 1/2″ – Queen
- 26 1/2″ x 98 1/2″ – King
This will make a lovely table runner, too. Simply reduce the number of blocks (and rows?) to achieve the size you want.
You can also add more rows to make a full sized quilt. That will make this a considerably bigger project but this gorgeous pattern is well worth it.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
