It’s a Pot Holder, Hot Pad and More!

This cute pot holder is great for summer, providing a colorful accent for your kitchen. It can also be used as a mug rug or snack mat anywhere around the house.

It’s a cute hot pad for your table, too, but turn it upside down when placing something hot on it so the buttons don’t melt. Be sure to include Insul-Bright batting for heat proofing if you plan to use it as a hot pad or pot holder.

The cute bluebird can turn into other birds by changing the colors. Go through your stash for a fabric combo you love.

This is an easy project and one that can be finished up quickly. You may want to make an extra one for a nature-loving friend.

The finished hot pad, from Crafty Staci, is about 8″ square without the beak and tail.
