Pastel batiks are simply lovely in this pretty table topper. Of course, stronger colors will be too.
Batiks provide texture and interest to the simple blocks. Choose a nice combination of colors that are similar in value to showcase against the background of your choice.
Autumn hues will be striking, holiday colors are wonderful, and many other color combinations will be great, too. Pastels make this perfect for spring and summer, or to enjoy all year long.
This is a simple project to make and one that goes together quickly. You can have it on your table in just a few hours.
The finished topper, designed by Connie Kresin Campbell at Freemotion by the River is 24″ x 24″.
