Easily Switch the Quilts Every Season!

If you love to quilt, you surely have a few mini quilts on hand. They tend to be quick projects that allow you to try various patterns and techniques between working on larger quilts.

Pull out those small quilts (and table toppers) and display them with this simple system. It’s perfect for a hallway or other space that could use something pretty on the wall.

Plus, the quilts don’t need sleeves in order to be displayed. They’re held in place with binding clips. This system is perfect for limited display space and is easy to construct from yardsticks.

Any room of the house can feature a gallery of small quilts. The following example is from Sheryl Johnson’s laundry room. She also used yardsticks and attached them to the wall with tiny nails. “Leave the heads sticking out so you can hook the nail into the binding between the stitches.” Learn more here.

Another method that’s just as charming and even simpler is to string a line against the wall and hang quilts with clothespins (or binding clips). They can be traditional wooden clothespins or colorful plastic ones. Affix thin clothesline rope to the wall using screw eye hooks, heavy-duty command hooks, or another method.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
