A More Controlled Color Theme Will be Great Too!
This sunny quilt will be a lovely addition to your collection and a fun project to make. Start with a beautiful combination of fat quarters and fat eighths, whether created from your stash or from a favorite fabric line.
Half-square triangles and Flying Geese units make up the complex-looking blocks. The designer used half-square triangle paper and the Bloc Loc Flying Geese Ruler to speed construction. However, your favorite method for making these units will work just great.
The photo shows a King size version of the quilt. It’s made with one more column and one more row of blocks than what’s specified in the pattern (16 blocks instead of 9).
Keep in mind that one of the oversized blocks will make a pretty table quilt.
The finished quilt, designed by Sherri McConnell from A Quilting Life, is 81 1/2″ x 81 1/2″.
