A Lovely Quilt for Even Beginning Quilters!
Charm squares against an off-white background give this lovely quilt a welcoming vintage feel. It’s an easy quilt to stitch together and leaves plenty of room to show off the quilting.
Straight line quilting is perfect for this quilt, although free motion quilting will be pretty too. Or, combine the two as shown in the example.
Coordinate the colors in the quilt by choosing beautiful 5″ charm square packs. Or, go full on scrappy and use up leftover charm squares. Either way you’ll have a beautiful quilt when you’re done.
The quilt’s dimensions are not provided, but they are included with the pattern.
The pattern is included in Just Charm Squares, a wonderful compilation of easy projects using charm pack squares. You’re sure to find other projects there you’ll want to make too. This runner is a pretty example.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
