Decorate for Easter with Cute Baskets and More

| Make Fabric Baskets, Carrots, Eggs, or All Three!
Decorate your home with these fun and festive Easter decorations. Fill the charming baskets with fabric carrots and eggs in pretty spring colors.
You can also add a few carrots or eggs to a centerpiece or wreath, or display them in a pretty bowl. Three carrots bunched together will be charming hung on a wall.
The baskets can be used as Easter baskets, filled with colorful “grass” and treats. Or let the kids use them for egg hunts. Embellish them with ric rac and lace or leave them plain.
All three projects are simple to make and go together quickly. Dig into your pretty spring fabrics and have fun watching them come together.
The designer, Heather from Stanton House Designs, provides instructions for the following:
- Basket – approximately 14″ tall (including handle and about 6″ tall without the handle) x 8″ wide
- Carrot – approximately 11″ long x 2″ wide (at the widest point)
- Egg – approximately 3.5″ tall x 2.25″ wide
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
