Diamonds Make a Pretty Baby Quilt |
It Will be Lovely on a Table, Too!
The hexagon shape of this quilt makes an interesting and creative baby quilt or play mat. It will also be lovely on a table or even as a tree skirt.
Diamonds make up the body of the quilt. Choose a variety of fabrics, or even scraps, to create your own.
Diamonds that are close in color and value can be spaced randomly, or arrange them in concentric circles. The quilt can easily be made larger or smaller by adjusting the number of rings. You can also change the size of the triangles to adjust the size.
This one was made into a tree skirt.
As shown here, the finished quilt, designed by Leila Gardunia, is approx. 24″ on each side and 50″ across the center.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
