Dig Into Your Scraps for This Stunning Quilt |
A Little Creative Adaptation Makes This Quilt Something Special!
It’s always fun to see how a quilter changes up a pattern to make it their own. This beautiful quilt by Keri Blankenship is a perfect example of how a bit of creativity can make a nice pattern into a sensational quilt.
The quilt was adapted from the “Candy Cane Crush” pattern. Keri mixed up the patchwork colors, added wide red bands and made the whole thing with a quilt-as-you-go method. The resulting quilt is simply gorgeous.
The original pattern is a pretty red and white quilt. Keri used scraps to create her more colorful version.
The original quilt pattern, “Candy Cane Crush”.
Fortunately for us, she provides excellent instructions for making your own QAYG rendition of her “Tell Me Of Your Mini Charms” quilt.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
