Dress Up Your Table With This Lovely Runner
Choose Between Two Designs!
Dress up your table by giving it an elegant touch with this beautiful runner. It’s wonderful in many color themes and fabric styles.
The unusual design is created using a stained glass technique. Bias tape, sewn down by hand or machine, outlines the fused sections.
Choose seasonal prints or those you’ll enjoy all year long. The white bias tape used in the examples can be changed to whatever color works bests with your color palette.
While we’ve not seen the instructions, it’s easy to imagine the fabric segments applied to a background using fusible web. Fusible tape can be used to position the bias tape over the “seams” before it’s sewn down.

The finished runner, from I Love To Quilt by Sylwia, is 48″ x 28″.
You’ll find a selection of fusible fabric tapes here and bias tape maker kits here.
A second runner from the same designer is just as lovely. Center swirls provide motion to the design.
We played in Photoshop to show it in another color.
