The Pattern is Highly Adaptable so Make it Uniquely Yours!

This simple table runner is so wonderfully charming. Its also a very easy project to make. Plus, it looks great in any color combination and in a variety of fabric styles.

This runner is so quick and easy to complete that you may find yourself making more than one. Consider seasonal and holiday fabrics, as well as whatever else strikes your fancy. This is a great project for using up leftover 2 1/2″ pre-cut strips and will look great in any color combination.

Another plus is that the size can be easily adjusted. Use longer strips for a wider runner. Or, add one more strip to each block.

The following runner, by Rachel of P.S. I Quilt, is the same basic pattern with alterations. Notice how she varied the width of the strips.

Rachel also used one less block for a shorter runner and added a white border to make the colors pop.

As you can see, the pattern is highly adaptable so have fun with it!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
