Happy Colors Make a Simple Quilt Shine

It’s An Easy Project for Quilters of All Skill Levels!
This charming quilt will be lovely on a table or wall. It’s also nicely sized for a baby’s play mat.
While the example is made from flannels, the quilt will be just as charming in quilting cottons. We love the sherbet colors, although any color theme will work nicely, whether soft and sweet or vivid and bold.
Start by selecting a charm pack of 5″ squares. Add an accent color for the star points and another for the background. Tie it all together with a coordinating fabric for the border.
“Barn Star 10” is lying atop the “Around Town” quilt.
This is an excellent project for leftover charm squares from your stash. Go as scrappy as you want or use a more limited color theme. Either way, you’ll get great results with this easy project.
The completed quilt, designed by Corey Yoder from Coriander Quilts, is 40″ x 40″.
