Make an Extra to Keep in the Car for Unexpected Hauls!
You’ll find yourself reaching for this roomy tote over and over again. Its size makes it ideal for those days when you need to carry several things with you, without being so large that it’s unwieldy. It’s perfect for shopping, going to the beach and quilt group days.
The bag, designed by Glenn Dragone, is constructed from patchwork panels that are quilted before being sewn together. The quilt-as-you-go nature of the construction makes it fairly easy to complete.
While we love the Americana look of the fabrics Glenn chose, we can also imagine this tote in many different colorways. Choose fabrics you love and have fun making your own version of this handy tote.
The finished size is 13”W x 13”H (excluding handles) x 7”D.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
