Make These Any Size You Want!

This quick and easy tote is a cinch to make using a charm pack. There are plenty of 5″ charm squares in one pack to make three totes, so make one for yourself and two for friends.

As an added plus, you can easily adjust the size of your totes by adding or deleting charms (although large totes might require a second charm pack if you’re making three).

3 Times the Charm Tote Bag PatternThe pattern, by Jenny Doan, is a fun way to showcase your favorite new fabric line, simply by purchasing a charm pack. Nice!

In the following video Jenny shows how the bags go together. That may be all you need to make one of these handy totes. If you prefer written instructions there is a pattern available (linked to below).

Click here to watch the video at YouTube if it doesn’t play on your device.

The finished totes, as shown, measure 10 1/2″ x 11″ x 3″. There are instructions in the pattern for an optional interior pocket and a button and loop closure.

A free pattern is available although the dimensions are slightly different.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
