It’s a Quick and Thoughtful Gift for Mother’s Day and More!

Put scraps to good use in this charming tissue holder. It’s a super simple Quilt-As-You-Go project that sews together quickly.

That’s a good thing because it makes a wonderful little gift. You can have several made in just a few hours. Keep some on hand for last-minute giving to anyone who keeps tissues handy.

A second tissue holder is even simpler to make. Instead of piecing, it features a pretty print, a contrasting accent, and fun rick rack. As Eilene says:

” … fabric tissue holders can be made for anyone and the uses are vast! Throw in cars, purses, diaper bags, backpacks, travel bags, etc! I find my tissues at the Dollar Tree, but if you can only find tissues that pull from the side, simply remove the tissues from the wrapper and put directly into the fabric case.”

You’ll find the quick video tutorial at the following link. Scroll down in the right column to find written instructions.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
