A Beautiful Quilt for All Those Scraps!

This gorgeous quilt is made from scraps and modified Rail Fence blocks. It will lend a cozy touch wherever it is used. The red and white half-square triangles threading through the quilt make it extra impressive.

While not hard to make, there are a lot of half-square triangles so take your time and enjoy the process. In the end you’ll be rewarded with a wonderful quilt to enjoy for years.

Stairsteps Quilt

We love the scrappy homespun look of the quilt displayed here. This is a great project for using up a wide variety of scraps from your stash. You can also give it a more color coordinated look by selecting fabrics around a particular color scheme.

“Stairsteps”, the pattern, by designer Jo Kramer of Jo’s Country Junction, appears in the American Patchwork & Quilting August 2016 issue.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
