Make a Charming Half-Circle Rug from Jelly Roll Strips

It’s Wonderful in Any Color Theme!
Jelly roll strips and batting are combined creatively for this striking area rug. It’s perfect for next to the bed, in front of the sink and more.
Just about any color combination makes a lovely rug. Have fun choosing a roll of pre-coordinated 2 1/2″ strips. Or go through your stash and put together a nice combination of leftover strips.
Flannel works nicely, too, for this rug, as will strips of other fabrics (e.g. lightweight denim).
The following examples, from Shabby Fabrics, are available as kits here (while supplies last). You’ll find several other examples there as well.
In the following video, Jennifer shows you how to put the rug together. In addition to the jelly roll strips you’ll need a 25-yard package of Bosal Katahdin 2½” cotton batting strips (available here).

The finished rug is 18″ x 31″. You’ll find the pattern at the following link.
