There Are Several Cute Blocks to Choose From!

Bunnies! We love these sweet bunny blocks designed by Nadra Ridgeway from Ellis and Higgs. She’s done a beautiful job of capturing the cute postures you often see in real life.

Each bunny block has its own personality, and they are all created with standard piecing. Make one block or several for a spring project or a baby quilt.

Finished block sizes: 6″ x 6″ and 12″ x 12″.

It’s easy to imagine four blocks made into a wall hanging, two or more blocks in a runner (perhaps with patchwork in between), or several made into a baby quilt. You can also finish one block for a mini quilt.

The blocks are sized differently, so keep that in mind as you’re designing your project. You can make them all the same by adding appropriately sized borders to achieve a consistent size. Each pattern has two block sizes, which we’ve listed under the photos.

You’ll find all of Nadra’s bunny block patterns at the following link.

There are many cute projects made from the blocks. To find them, once you click the link above, click to go to any of the individual patterns. On the pattern description page, scroll down to “Photos from reviews”. Click a photo to enlarge it and scroll through the rest. You’ll find different project photos for each pattern (although some appear with more than one pattern).

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
