Make This Pretty Topper in an Afternoon |
A Great Project for Leftover Jelly Roll Strips!
This simple table topper makes a lovely statement and is perfect for under a vase of flowers or another centerpiece. Make it up in colors that work with your decor and enjoy its simple elegance all year long.
This is a great project for using up leftover 2 1/2″ strips. Batiks are especially lovely but just about any fabric style will be pretty too. Once you start exploring your stash you’re likely to discover you already have the perfect combination on hand.
You’ll love how quickly this goes together. Even beginning quilters can have it completed in an afternoon. Make a triangle template from the pattern or use a a 60 degree ruler, such as the Fons and Porter Pyramid Ruler, to speed construction.
The “Slice of Pie” table topper, designed by Carolyn S. Vagts, is 26 1/2″ x 23 1/2″.
You’ll find the pattern in Precut Table Runners and Toppers along with several other beautiful topper patterns.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
