So Many Ideas in One Charming Quilt Book!

One of our favorite quilting books is “Farm Girl Vintage” by Lori Holt. The blocks that make up the cover quilt are wonderful all together but think how you can use them individually.

Every single block can be used by itself in multiples to make a full sized quilt. Or, combine a few of your favorite blocks into a smaller quilt or table runner. Use individual blocks on the front of an apron, as an accent on a tote bag or as the center block in a table or wall quilt. There are so many possibilities!

All of the blocks go together with simple piecing. There’s no applique or paper piecing involved. You’ll find them easy to stitch up and will discover many ways to use the clever blocks in this book.

We adore the hens lined up in a row and can’t wait to make our own version of this quilt. Four hen blocks would make a wonderful topper for the kitchen table, too.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
