These 3D Pinwheels Can Be Used in Many Projects!
These potholders are colorful and fun, and so different from other potholders we’ve seen. They’ll be wonderful in your kitchen and to give as gifts.
Plus, the 3D pinwheels are sparking our imagination. They could be used in so many other quilting projects. We can definitely see them in quilts for babies and kids, but also in wall hangings and anywhere else you want to add a bit of interest to a quilt.
The pinwheels are super easy to make. The mix of print and solid fabrics seem to give them extra dimension. Add a layer or two of Insul-Bright batting to the potholder design from Erin of Schosser Designs to make them heat proof. Of course, once you learn how to make the pinwheels you can use them anywhere!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
