Make Them Up in Your Favorite Colors or For Any Season!

These pretty placemats are an easy project, even for beginning quilters. Select fabrics in your favorite colors and you’ll have a set made up before you know it.

Five inch charm squares are perfect for this project. Select a pack you love or use up leftover squares from your stash. Extra 2 1/2″ jelly roll strips also work. Both solid colors and low-contrast prints work well for the centers.

Simple patchwork and straight line quilting make them a breeze to complete. They make wonderful gifts, too, so keep these in mind the next time you want to give something special.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
