Pretty Details Make It Special!
This lovely bag is so pretty with its monochromatic color theme. Gingham and fun-themed prints give it a lighthearted appeal.
The bag is nicely sized for busy days and has a big zippered pocket on the back. A lace zipper is a nice decorative touch (16″ – found here in various colors), as are the rolled handles. Overall, it’s a great bag for sewing supplies and much more.
Other colors will be just as wonderful in this tote, even a multi-colored palette. We played in Photoshop to see what it would look like in another color.
The front is a fun project for scraps while coordinating prints flesh out the rest of the bag.
The finished tote, designed by Charise Randell from Charise Creates, is 13 1/2” square (bag only) and 13 1/2” wide x 24” tall with the straps

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you! PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
