Replicate This Quilt from Your Stash |
Customize the Block Size to Fit Your Vision for This Quilt!
We instantly fell in love with this gorgeous quilt made of scrappy Log Cabin Hearts. It took a good amount of hunting but we finally found a pattern you can customize to make your own.
The quilt was originally found in a fabric store but no pattern information was included in the article about it. Read about the quilt on Dish Sisters.
However, a block pattern by Feverish Quilter will work just fine to replicate this quilt – that and your scrap bag!
Instructions for four block sizes are included in the pattern:
- 6″ x 6″
- 8″ x 8″
- 10″ x 10″
- 12″ x 12″
Make blocks of the size you prefer and stitch them together with sashing. Make the sashing the same width as the “logs” and use the same fabric as the background used for the hearts.
Select scraps for the blocks, or coordinate the colors for an equally charming quilt.
If you use scraps, when you are done you’ll have a quilt similar to the beauty in the picture above.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
