Other Fabric Styles Will be Lovely, Too!
Jewel-tone batiks are simply stunning in this beautiful quilt. The rich colors pop against the white background, emphasizing the attractive overall design.
Your favorite colors will be beautiful, too. Simply keep them close in value against the contrasting background. Consider a dark background with vivid, or even pastel batiks for a whole different look.
While the description says this is an intermediate quilt, it’s really quite simple to make. Get quick and easy results by being careful not to stretch the bias edges on the triangles. Spray starch will help if that tends to be an issue for you.
The finished quilt, designed by Stephanie Sheridan, is 63″ x 63″. That’s perfect for draping over your sofa for use as a throw.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
