Scraps are Perfect for This Beautiful Mini Quilt |
Your Style of Scraps Will Make It Uniquely Yours!
Delectable Mountain blocks are used many ways in quilts. They are often seen framing another block, they work beautifully in borders, and they can be combined several ways for the body of a quilt.
This beautiful little quilt features mini Delectable Mountain blocks. It’s a charming quilt that will be right at home on your wall or table.
It’s a great project for scraps and will be wonderful in many color themes.
While the blocks could be constructed with traditional piecing, the pattern is for paper piecing. That allows for greater accuracy and a smoother finish.
If you haven’t done paper piecing before, or have had problems with it, don’t panic. In this instance the piecing is very simple. Well-written instructions make it nearly fool-proof.
The finished quilt, designed by Lara of Buzzin Bumble, is 20″ square.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
