Show Off Great Fabric in This Simple Quilt |
It Will be Charming in Many Color Combinations!
It always amazes us how appealing a simple quilt pattern can be, and this one is a wonderful example. Beautiful fabrics and easy piecing create a lovely quilt that even beginners can complete.
Five inch wide strips separated by white sashing add up to much more than the sum of the parts. Select a favorite combination of fabrics and you’ll have this quilt completed before you know it.
Make fabric selection easy by choosing from a coordinated fabric line. Or, put your own combination together for a quilt that is uniquely yours.
The example shown here was made by Kathy from Sea Salt Quilts. Before you get started, read through her post and notice her shortcut for making the pieced strips on each side of the main body of the quilt.
The pattern, by Natalie Lymer, is for a 65 1/2″ x 63 1/2″ quilt.
You’ll need to scroll a bit to find the pattern.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
