Instructions Are Provided for 5 Sizes!
While we love the striking colors used in this quilt, we can also imagine it made with 1930’s reproductions fabrics. Batiks in any color scheme would be stunning too, as would coordinated fabrics with fussy cuts in the center squares. It would be a charming scrap quilt, as well.
The stair step border treatment will make this quilt stand out from the crowd, regardless of the fabrics used. Add your unique color sense and you’ll have a quilt to treasure.
We also appreciate that the pattern includes instructions for five sizes:
- Crib size: 44″ x 59″
- Throw size: 59″ x 74″
- Twin/Full size: 74″ x 89″
- Queen size: 89″ x 104″
- King size: 104″ x 104″
There is so much you can do with this pattern!
The quilt is super easy to make, even for beginning quilters. If you can sew a consistent quarter inch seam and cut accurately, you can make this quilt.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
