Easily Make This Into a Lap or Bed Quilt!
This sweet baby quilt has a lovely scrappy look even though it was designed for fat quarters. Charm squares (5″) work nicely too. The white strips make the colors pop.
Dig into your stash and combine your favorite print fabrics. Just make sure they all have similar values to contrast nicely against the white strips.
The finished quilt, by Liz Smith of Rebel Perfection, is 40″ x 44″. You can easily enlarge it by adding more rows until you achieve the desired size. Or use larger squares. While this is intended as a baby quilt, it will be beautifully charming on a full-sized bed!
A second pattern is available for a larger throw quilt that measures 56″ by 60″. It, too, is great for scraps, I-spy prints, and favorite charm packs.
