Plus, it’s a lovely gift bag, whether filled with goodies or not. A decorative button is a nice finishing touch while Velcro secures the contents.

Since it goes together so quickly you can have several made in just a few hours. Start with a pack of 1 1/2″ honeybun strips or cut your own in a nice combination of colors. One honeybun roll will make two nicely coordinated bags. This also a great project for scraps.

The pattern from Moda does not specify the finished size but the bag appears to be 10″ wide across the top and about 8″ across the bottom when closed.
