Reduce the Size of the Strips for a Charming Table Topper!

When we first saw this lovely quilt we imagined it as a table topper. The fresh colors are perfect for your spring table or for any time of the year.

As it turns out, the pattern is for a lap or baby quilt. Not only is it charming, but easy construction makes it perfect for when you need to finish a quilt quickly. Plus, it will be wonderful in many different color combinations.

Strip Tango Baby Quilt

Strips of 4 1/2″ x 20 1/2″ sew together quickly. Once you’ve selected your fabrics, even beginning quilters can have this finished up in just a few hours.

The pattern, from Kelly from My Quilt Infatuation, is for a 48″ x 60″ baby or lap quilt.

However, if you have your heart set on a table topper, cut all the finished dimensions in half. Strips would be cut at 2 1/2″ x 10 1/2″ for a topper that is about 28″ x 30″.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
