This Beautiful Quilt Makes Us Think of Warm Weather

This beautiful quilt is so compelling with its clean and eye-catching design. The delightful color combination is a bit unexpected and makes us think of warm and sunny days.
Notice how minimal color and value contrasts between the blues and greens provide the perfect foil for the cheerful pops of purple. Of course, it will be charming made up in other color themes, as well, but keep the value pattern in mind when selecting fabrics.
The completed quilt, designed by Jennifer Thomas, is 55 5/8″ x 72 1/2″. That’s a great size for picnics as well as for a throw quilt to drape over the couch.
