It Will Make a Stunning Table Topper, Too!
If you need a new tree skirt and you’re short on time, this charmer is the perfect solution. Easy piecing means this is a breeze to make. You’ll love how quickly you can have it done and under your tree.
This would also make a charming table topper. Simply sew all the wedges together and omit the step for cutting a circle out of the center. Layer, quilt and bind as usual.
Select a jelly roll of green fabrics or dig into your stash and choose several that work together. Add a variety of prints in holiday colors for the packages under the tree and a neutral background to set them off.
The tree skirt, by Leah Douglas is 47″ from point to point.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
