This Cute Frog Sews Up Quickly
It’s a Fun Gift for Both Kids and Adults!
Kids of all ages, and adults too, love this cute little frog. It will sit nicely in your hand, and on a shelf, table, or desk. It will be charming presented with a matching quilt, in a gift basket, or peeking out of a Christmas stocking.
Choose two complimentary prints and fill the frog with plastic pellets for a bean bag effect. Two-part Safety Eyes lend personality to the frog (found here and here), or layer buttons for big curious eyes.
This is a quick project that can be completed in just a few hours. Plus, you can change the size of the frog for a larger or smaller version.
Trey scanned the pattern and printed it at 200% size for a larger frog. Notice how cute the button eyes are.
Michelle put a couple of stitches under his chin and some plastic pellets in his back end so that he stays in a more upright position.
You’re sure to have fun creating your own version.
The finished frog, designed by Darcy Ashton from Ashton Publications, is about 6″ x 7″.
