Go Vintage or Modern with Fabric Choices!

Scraps from your stash cut into 2″ strips will form the blocks for this beautiful vintage-look scrappy quilt. Choose two colors, like the pink and green here, to create the furrow pattern and to unify the quilt.

Add borders and you’ll have a lovely quilt that’s reminiscent of those your grandma may have made. Of course, the quilt will be beautiful in more modern fabrics too. Play with the unifying fabrics and border colors to create your own special version.

4-Patch and Furrows Quilt Pattern

The pattern, from Bonnie Hunter, makes good use of strip sets to speed construction. Once your sets are sewn you can quickly create the blocks with power sewing.

Bonnie’s quilt is about 62″ x 68″. Make yours however large you want by varying the number of blocks and the border widths.
