This Quilt Brings to Mind Apples and Brown Sugar

We Can Also Imagine This Quilt Made up in Spring Colors!

Reminiscent of apples, brown sugar and caramel, this beautiful quilt will warm up your home all season long. Snowball and Four-Patch blocks combine in soft autumn colors, making us think of trips to the apple orchard in the fall.

Select fabrics from your stash for a scrappy effect and tie everything together with a great border fabric. Small-scale prints work best to allow the overall design to take center stage.

Apple Crisp Quilt Pattern

Swirly free motion quilting sets off the design perfectly. However, straight line quilting, perhaps outlining the basic block shapes, will be nice as well.

The quilt, by designer Jan Ragaller, finishes at 70 × 78″.
