Choose Scraps or Work with Yardage!
Deep, rich fabrics make a stunning quilt to enjoy during the holidays or all year around. Careful value placement creates the stunning overall design from one simple block.
Designed to be made from scraps, you can also use yardage to create your own beautiful quilt. Select a variety of light and dark fabrics that work well together and let the borders pull everything together.
While we love the color coordinated look of this quilt, it will be wonderful as a true multi-colored scrap quilt. Just be sure to mind value placement so the overall design emerges.
This quilt is included in Weekend Scrap Quilting. There are several other beautiful quilts to choose from as well, and all of them are easy projects.
The finished size is not provided (it is in the magazine) but it appears to be throw sized. This is an easy one to add or delete blocks from in order to alter the size.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
