Perfect for Your Thanksgiving Table!

We love table runners and mats. They really dress up a dining area and give your table a special touch. They’re relatively quick quilting projects, so you can make several in the time it takes for a larger quilt. Plus, you can change the table’s, and the room’s, look in an instant by switching the table runner.

The “Autumn Stars” table runner is a great choice for displaying on your table during the fall months. Imagine how great this will look on your Thanksgiving table!

Autumn Stars Table Runner Pattern

Autumn-colored scraps are perfect for this project (or use fabric scraps appropriate to another season and display the quilted table runner then).

The stars made of half square triangles and the patchwork border are easy to piece. Machine quilt this runner as simply or extravagantly as you like – or hand quilt it, if you prefer.

The finished size of this quilted table runner is 47″ x 20″.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
