This Simple Star Block Makes a Big Impact

Choose Between 4 Block Sizes!
This simple yet eye-catching block is a great way to use some of those scraps. Make a mini quilt, pillow, wall hanging, table runner, or even a full-size quilt! Multiple block sizes give you many design options.
While the block is stunning in crayon colors, it will be just as beautiful in softer colors too. A coloring sheet is provided so you can try color combinations before you start cutting and sewing.
The block is constructed using foundation paper piecing. If you’re new to the technique, don’t worry. This block is perfect for beginners and you’ll find excellent FPP instructions here.
Mariesa Morgan from Ten Cow Quilts provides instructions for 4 block sizes:
- 6″ finished (6 1/2″ unfinished)
- 8″ finished (8 1/2″ unfinished)
- 9″ finished (9 1/2″ unfinished)
- 10″ finished (10 1/2″ unfinished)
